This is it. We are having our grand opening tomorrow, at 11832 Atlantic Ave, in the middle of the Yvonne Burke – Ham Park.
This means we are the first worker owned specialty coffee shop in LA county.
Community, this is historical. As you all may know, we are are specialty coffee meeting community growth, support, and progress. After 2 years of serving you coffee as a pop up throughout Southern California, we officially have a set location to meet you here.
We will have ribbon cutting, speeches, activities, and salsa dancing, where everyone is welcome to learn.
Collective Avenue is honored to open up our first location in the Lucy Avalos Community Center, where since our soft opening we have received lots of support and praise by the locals and visitors alike.
On top of our quality coffee beverages made with locally roasted coffee, we now offer carefully chosen teas, pastries, and snacks.
So far we have served hundreds of drinks in this location, had dozens of conversations, and hosted meetings for folks supporting worker owned coops, and with your support, we will continue to have events such as Last Fridays, coffee cupping sessions, and worker cooperative workshops here.
All in all, we hope to see you tomorrow in our historical grand opening, starting sharply at 10:30 AM.
From the bottom of our hearts, Thank you.
Jon & Kat
